Monday

It's great to be back! Oh, did I ever miss my favorite horsey with the fuzzy mane, and my favorite peek-a-boo buddy Adam! Katie and Tim agreed that the feelings were mutual when we were reunited. =)

8:00 snack: applesauce and puffs
10:00 milk and a few bites of carrots (wasn't interested in food)
10:30 eye drops and nap
1:20 up with poopy diaper
2:00 milk, finished off carrots and chicken, cheese stick; eye drops
3:30 fresh diaper

Monday

Still bummin' about being sick today, but Adam sure serves to be a good distraction. Now if we could just get my ears to drain and get rid of this yucky stuff! Here's hoping for a good day!

Friday

What a day, oh what a day!
My cheerful health has run away.
My eyes and ears are buggin' me
and all we want is health for me.

But it's hard to stay sad
when the toy tornado hits,
and Adam's birthday balloon
begs for me to play with it!

And on this sunny day
Katie's determined to make me smile,
especially after a tough morning
when I cried for quite a while.

But have no worries, Mom and Dad
cuz even though I'm bummed,
you're getting a break while I'm on the mend
so we can have a better weekend!

Friday's here and I get to play
all day with my buddy,
which distracts me with fun and toys
so I forget that I feel cruddy.

Wednesday

I'm on the mend from an ear infection and pink eye, but it's not bringing me down as long as we have good tunes to boogie to and my horsey to be my pal. =) Today Katie's friend Natalie is going to trim my bangs. It will be nice to have my hair out of my eyes, and I hope Mommy and Daddy like my fresh do. Have a good day!

Friday

2:00 milk, last of the peach bits and a jar of carrots/broc/chz

Thursday

I really wonder about my buddy Adam. When I get my diaper changed he charges over as fast as he can, holds his hand above my face while he locks eyes with Katie (who gives him The Look), then pets my hair and face. Thank God for The Look.

7:40 snack: blueberry applesauce and Puffs
8:45-10:30 nap
10:35 bottle, leftover chicken & carrots, and turkey dinner (ate about 6 oz of food); sneaky me enjoyed some of Adam's Cheerios while Katie got the washcloth ready (She spaced it and kept our high chair trays nice & close- ha! I don't think she noticed but she took note of the evidence of Cheerios in my hair and hands.)
11:00 poopy diaper
11:30 unhappy, rested but didn't nap (I was chattin' away in the P&P and Katie came in to check on me so I squeezed my eyes shut and peeked at her to see if she was looking at me)
12:15 snack: pear bits leftover from yesterday
12:40-2:20 nap
2:30 milk, beans, and pear bits
3:30 poopy diaper
3:55 outside to explore

Tuesday

It's a cabin-fever day here: it's beautiful [looking] outside, and c-c-c-cold! It's fun racing around with Adam now that he's walking. We hold on to a toy and boogie around the house laughing. =) Hope you're having a good day!

Monday

Today Katie's college friend Kathy came to visit with her 2-yr-old son Conner. He's a big boy, but we both walk. He said I am a big girl and he's right! Yay me! Have a great day!

8:00-10:30 nap (wasn't ready to wake up, but Katie said time for lunch. wow, big nap!)

1:00-2:30 nap (again, woken up by Katie - she said someone is growing. I wonder who??)
